Oscar Tweet Up

Posted by punky on Monday March 8, 2010 at 9:44 pm | Outfitted, Street Style |

Quick pictures from the Oscar Tweet Up, which was my first visit to a Speakeasy.  Shoestring and Fafarazzi sure know how to throw a party. I wish I could get all dressed up to watch TV and play on Twitter every night.

The official pictures are here.

Angel Jackson

Posted by punky on Thursday March 4, 2010 at 2:20 pm | Shopping Sites |

Can we all just stop and swoon for a minute?

Angel Jackson: This luxurious line of accessories is hand-crafted in Bali in fair-trade workshops, and the exotic materials used are all ethically sourced.
When did being green get so fancy? I love it.

Oscar Up

I’m sure you can tell, I love to play dress up. I also never turn down a chance to hang out the budget loving peeps at Shoestring Magazine. That being said,  They are co-hosting a Oscar party with Fafarazzi at a speakeasy this Sunday. The cool thing about this event is you are encouraged to wear your best secondhand/vintage red carpet attire.  I cant wait to put on my best thrifted gown and get all dolled up. (red carpet looks not required)

I hope you guys will consider joining me.

The Ames

Posted by punky on Tuesday March 2, 2010 at 9:23 pm | New England, Outfitted |

My friend Cassie and I attended a Boston Magazine party at The Ames Hotel last night. I pulled this dress out of Haberdash last minute because I was sick of everything in my closet. I wish I took a picture of the back. It has cute purple bows all the way down the back like the leopard Rodate dress. I also pulled out my DIY spike bag and stud jacket that Ive hadn’t worn since November. I was kinda over doing the DIY for a while, it needed a break.

“The Pink Sheep Of the Family”

Posted by punky on Thursday February 11, 2010 at 1:39 pm | Accessorized |

This Vintage belt will hopefully be in my mailbox in time for Fashion Week. I haven’t decided what to wear yet. But I promise it will be all a vintage, I have to represent the Haberdash.

So who going to NYFW and how tragic is this McQueen thing?

“Your Magazine is out”

Posted by punky on Wednesday February 3, 2010 at 12:44 pm | Haberdash, New England |

I received the best text message last night while I was up north visiting my mom. The message said “your magazine is out”. Mom and I immediately jumped in the car and headed to the bookstore. FYI: Running around a bookstore looking for a magazine  to read about yourself is hugely narcissistic. But having your mom be so proud that she shows everyone in the store makes it OK.

Boston Magazine Feature

Posted by punky on Wednesday February 3, 2010 at 12:02 am | Haberdash |

I’m super excited to share these behind the scenes photos from a secret photo shoot I did with Boston Magazine back in December.  It was such a pleasure to work with Eric Kulin and Ennis Styling. It is unbelievable how much work and talent is needed to create that one perfect picture that used in a magazine. I hope you will pick up the February issue and see the full page feature on Haberdash.

New Hat Day

Posted by punky on Tuesday January 26, 2010 at 8:23 pm | Accessorized |

I got a new hat this weekend, I think every single one of my friends made fun of it. I also got a new shiny red tea pot…but no one made fun of that.

Wearing: new hat (hence the new hat post), this vintage bag, vintage jumper and belt soon to be in Haberdash Vintage and Vivienne Westwood suede ankle booties.
