We went to see the movie Forgetting Sarah Marshall this weekend. In the movie Mila Kunis (who I adore) wore a simple yet stunning shark tooth necklace for her role as Rachel. I couldn’t stop thinking about it. The whole ride home I was trying to rationalize buying a sharks tooth necklace (I wanted to make one with the teeth we found while we were in Boca Grande but I totally lost those before the week was over). Anyway, I googled the necklace when I got home (yes, I’m aware how dorky that sounds). The necklace is from Pade Vavra which retails for $200 and as pretty as it is…I’m going to be looking for a cheaper version from Etsy.
Does anyone else have a irrational fear of sharks? I cant even watch shark week on the Discovery Channel with out having nightmares.

I know a bunch of people have been coveting that high waist skirt from the Lauren Conrad Collection that is not available yet. If you are one of those people Old Navy has this one that is very similar. I bought it in plain black in the store (I couldn’t find it online). Just make sure you buy it two sizes smaller so it fits at the waist and not the hips. I’ll post a picture of mine soon.
American Apparel one as well, but it’s not as cute.
If you missed the preview of The Hills you catch it here.

Ever since I saw this picture of Sara Jessica in the new Sex in the City Movie, I’ve been lusting after the Extreme Dior Gladiator Platform. But with the price of them being so close to my mortgage payment owning them was totally out of the question. I did however find these two similar pairs. Which ones do you gals like best?

For years buying a new pair of designer jeans meant driving an hour out of town to Bloomingdales or Copley Square. Those days are now over and you can spend all the money you will save on gas on the perfect jeans or dress.
Spoil’d Boutique along with their original location at 30 Lyman Street in Westborough has opened a new location in Worcester at 305 Shrewsbury Street. They carry all the brands you love, and the brands you don’t know you love…yet.
Stop in the store this weekend for 15% off your entire purchase.
Add Spoil’d as a friend on Myspace to learn more about the brands they carry and to keep up to date with sales and new designer info.
stART in the Park is next weekend for all you Massachusetts peeps. Also, Boston’s Open Market is open for the season. So go get yourself some handmade goodies.
Thank you Crystal for reminding me.
I just updated the Etsy Shop.
Someone should seriously buy these fringe shorts before I starve myself trying to fit in to them. They are absolutely perfect in person.
Has anyone seen the new Old Navy commercials? They have probably been running for a while, But I turn on my tv about once a month. With exception of this weekend which I spent sick in bed. Anyway, the ON commercial came on and I noticed two things right away. The first being the model was wearing a maxi dress(really long dress), so I guess that officially a trend now. The second being they were using a song by one of my favorite artist. I immediately goggled Old Navy commercials and found out that…Old Navy claims they discovered Lights and they have a total of four commercials planned (filmed in Buenos Ares). Lights herself will be featured in one of the last two commercials. I’m now convinced that ON is secretly watching my Myspace favorites page because this is the third one of my favorite artist that they have used for a commercial.
Here are two of the four commercials:
If anyone else is a fan and you know where I could get a copy her song Casanova that she had up on Myspace about a year ago, I would be forever thankful.
Can we talk about how on point Lauren is? Seriously, does she ever have a bad outfit or hair day? I was always envious of girls that manage to look completely pulled together every single day. I can hardly manage to apply makeup once a week. Anyway I am completely in love with her whole wardrobe, particularly her Elizabeth and James items. How do you guys feel about Miss LC?

I came across this website the other day while reading In Style magazine at my hair salon. It was mentioned as being the most helpful site for woman buying jeans online, but the site itself doesn’t actually sell jeans. What Zafu does is…ask you few simple questions and use your answers to recommend clothes and brands that will fit you best.
Check it out, and let me know if it’s affective as they claim. I could really use an excuse to buy a new pair of jeans.

I’m heading to The Brimfield Flea Market today. I had originally planed to go yesterday, But my super busy stylist at Scissors in Shrewsbury (shameless plug) had a cancellation so I chose to pay a visit to her instead. I was long over due for a hair cut, but I wanted to make sure I had over 10 inches, so I could donate it to Locks of Love.

Hello lovelies, I hope everyone spoiled their mothers on Sunday.
The Punky household had a very productive weekend. We had a lovely dinner at the Stockyard in Boston on Friday night. I went thrifting and found a bunch of fun items for the store and some for myself of course (although kyle is questioning my need for Doc Marten style combat boots). I ran in to my aunt at Savers and she was looking for any AE, AF or Hollister items for her teenage daughter. Which I happen to have a ton of (I hang on to my clothes from high school just to make sure I still fit in to them). I spent Saturday sorting through my clothes that were in storage and pulling out everything I thought my teenage cousin would like. And while I was doing that kyle was installing shelfs in my closet (I took some before, during and after pictures). Sunday we took my mom out to lunch and then spent the day at my grams with the rest of the family.
Oops I almost forgot…This is what I’m wearing.
