My attention span for online fashion community’s seems to be very limited. I remember back in 2005 Style Diary was the place to be, and then in 2006, I was all about Wardobe Remix, and last year I spent about 3 hours a day on Style Mob. But once I find a new one, I forget the old site ever existed.

Anywho, I’m trying a new one on for size. Chictopia the thing that stands out about this community is you can search for the people that are the same age, shape, style and size as you. No more sorting through pictures of 16 year olds wearing size 2 Hollister dresses…awesome.

I was suppose to be updating the Etsy store today. But some friends stopped over and invited us to see Wall-E. Cute movie…take your siblings to see it (or go as a group of adults like us). After that I came home and planted some herbs (hoping they will grow into pizza trees like the movies says). I promise the Etsy store will be updated tomorrow….I think.

I am in the midst of planning my first ever Clothes Swap. I’m super excited about it, and I wanted to share some of that excitement with you gals. If anyone has ever hosted or attended a clothes swap, I would love some insight.

4.) Is anyone using Yelp? I just found an event listing for a Vintage Store Crawl. Which pretty much sounds like heaven to me. I never knew Yelp had event listing…awesome.

Happy first day of summer everyone. I will be celebrating by leaving work early and ordering a “love it” of “strawberry blond” at Coldstone, and tonight we will be having all the peeps over for a campfire and smores. I love summer!

Have you ever stumbled on to an amazing online blowout sale only to find that your size is totally sold out? That wont happen any more. There is now a website that will notify you any time your favorite brands go on sale on the web.

On Shop it to me you can pick your favorite brands from among the 500+ that are featured, input your various size preferences, and select the frequency with which you want to be alerted (daily, weekly, etc). And they will email you every time a brand you like goes on SALE in your size.

I have been searching for the perfect floral print dress for months with no luck. I almost broke down and bought one from Express last night (random punkystyle.com fact: express has never in its two and a half years been mentioned on this blog). The thrift gods must have been with me, because today I found the dress of my most recent dreams for $4…thats right four dollars!!!

While Kate and I were at the Natick Collection last night, drolling over all the bright summer dresses and funky print scarves (ironically named the “summer scarf”) in Madewell. I was instantly reminded of this blog post that Kyle recently read to me from stuffwhitepeoplelike.com. I couldn’t be more guilty of wearing scarves all year long. In fact I think I’m going to hit up the fabric store today and try to recreate that soft jersey Madewell scarf. I’ll let you know how it turns out.

P.S. Pretty much every store there had a 50% off sale going on. Also bathrooms in that mall are bigger then my house.

The Katy Perry Cd comes out tomorrow…finally! I’ve adored her since she was in the Cupids Chokehold video. I also heard she worked with Butch Walker (one of my all time favorite artists and producers) while making this cd. I could just eat up everything he works on. I absolutely will be picking the album up on my way into work Tuesday morning. Anyone else have a mega girl crush on her?

A bundle of fun vintage items going in the Etsy store this week.

Man this week flew by! I’m heading down the cape for the weekend. Kyle and his dad are building a house in Sandwich. I figured instead of having him fight Friday evening traffic to get to us, Emma and I would join him. It will be a much needed break from all the overtime we worked last weekend. I’m going to make a pit stop to H&M its been months since I’ve been in there (which was torture with all of the pictures of maxi dresses floating around). Our last weekend down the cape was kind of a bust because I was horribly ill and could barely get out of bed. I will try to make it up to them this weekend. We will eat, drink, sunbathe, make fun of boys wearing cargo shorts and popped collars, dance fight and sing karaoke until we have plenty of embarrassing pictures of each other to post on Myspace.

I just found her Etsy store this week and I have already ordered the following soaps as gifts (maybe one is for you).
