Your brown skin shinin’ in the sun
You got that hair slicked back and those wayfarers on, baby
I can tell you my love for you will still be strong
After the boys of summer have gone
I love early birthday gifts.
I love wayfarers.
thank you kyle

I’m heading to Rhode Island to pick up my west coast sidekick from the airport. Providence shenanigans will follow.
P.S. I scored my first ever Press Pass to a Fashion Show yesterday…I’m stoked.

I honestly don’t know how I kept quiet about this so long. But, myself and three other Boston bloggers were interviewed for the night life magazine Stuff @ Night. We even had a legit photo shoot with a ultra hip photographer in the middle of Boston Common.
It’s really lovely when stuff like this happens. This blog is one of my great loves and its rewarding when other people take notice. My dad was bragging all weekend to our relatives that his daughter was in a magazine. He’s so proud, I didn’t have the heart to tell him it’s a free publication.
If you live in the Boston area pick up a copy of the Stuff @ Night Fall Fashion Issue and check it out. If you don’t, you can read it online here.
My car went into the shop today. No car, no computer, this month has been just awesome so far. What else could go wrong…don’t answer that. Well at least I told the Gateway guy I’m a C-List Bloglebrity and I need my laptop back ASAP (sometimes you have to throw your weight around)! Shouldn’t be long now…right?

I love when I can look back at photos from my weekend and they resemble an ad for Country Living Magazine. One of the best things about Massachusetts is that it borders other wonderful states, like Connecticut for instance. We spent this weekend camping on the Connecticut River with a bunch of my family members. Old Lyme is a charming little town. I highly recommend it as a day trip for my fellow New Englanders.

Ugh…Season Four started Monday and I forgot to tune in. Thank you MTV for making them available to watch at work online. Did anyone see it?
I have to show you my most recent thrift store find. I bought this metal bathroom shelf at Trash and Treasure in West Dennis last week. I spotted it a few weeks before, but put it back because I had no wall space in my bathroom. I decided it was too cute to pass up and as soon as I got it home it was clear what I should do with it.
Take a look at my new jewelry shelf.

Punky’s computer has broken again, and as a way to teach her a lesson, I’ve been telling her for godsakes buy a mac. I’m posting this from my imac (which works wonderfully), and restricting all her access to it. So until gateway gets her computer functional, she won’t be posting quite as much as everyone would like.
But hey, at least she’ll pay attention to me now.
Without a doubt, she’ll be sneaking up to my office to post updates, so I’m sure this will all be short lived.
Kyle
I’m pretty sure it rained for a month straight here in New England. It sure is nice to see the sun. I spent the day doing some much needed yard work. Weeding is no fun, but buying a new plant and having it bloom the next day was.
I need some help from you stylish ladies. My friend Jackie sent me an email asking for my input on accessories that would go with this dress, But since I have a dress in the same color that I never wore, I’m guessing I’m the wrong person to ask. So how would you guys wear this Banana Republic dress?

Maybe you could use Polyvore to show us.
