Today is the one year anniversary of my most proud moment: Moving in to the house I purchased all on my own. When I was growing up being a homeowner was a constant dream of mine, but I always assumed I wouldn’t be able to afford my own home until I got married, won the lottery or inherited my parents house. Finally being able to make my dream a reality was a huge accomplishment for me. The best part is, I love my house even more then I ever imagined I would. I cherish my little neighborhood and I adore my back yard. When I curl up in the hammock with a book magazine while Emma protects the yard from squirrels, I cant think of anywhere else I would rather be but home.
I came across this post today, and it made me wonder what you think is the most unflattering item a girl could wear?
Kyle says my least sexy ensemble would be anything with a high waist or sweatpants and Ugg boots (don’t worry I don’t leave the house like this). But I could think of a million things that would be less sexy.

I’ve been wearing tons of black lately, I think I’m mourning the loss of summer.
Attaching studs on my shoes was a little harder then I thought it would be. They are a bit too thick and my poor little hands were killing me last night. I’ll post more pictures tonight.

Who is your favorite?
I often find myself falling in lust for the strangest items, for example: The Mask. I think the mask fixation started a few years ago, when I received this mask as a gift from a friends trip to Italy. After that there was the mustache masks I tried convince my friends they should all wear. This month its the animal mask. I ordered a bunch of plastic masks to use in a photo shoot, but we seem to think its more fun to just wear them around the house.

Saturday has become mini adventure day in the Punky household. We grab the camera, tom tom and Emma and head out for a day of exploring. This weekend we visited Jamestown, Rhode Island.
A few months ago a friend (and fellow graffiti lover) told me about this graffiti laden, abandon military base called Fort Wetherill which was built into granite cliffs, overlooking Narragansett Bay. It was was immediately added to my “places to go list”.
If you have any location ideas in the (New England area) for adventure day. I would love to hear them.
