Etsy helps you shop for Facebook friends

Etsy, Neat Feature

Etsy recently released this neat feature just in time for holiday shopping.
“The Gift Ideas for Facebook Friends tool gives shopping for friends and family a new twist by connecting with Facebook to find gift ideas based on their public profile information. When you connect to Facebook using Gift Ideas, Etsy can suggest items to you related to the likes and interests of your Facebook friends”

I tested it out with some of my friends profiles and it seems to work pretty good, even if I didn’t like the items they suggested it did give me some other good ideas.
Try it out here.

Keep calm

As some of you may already saw, we shared some very big news last month over on the The Swapaholics blog.

I officially joined the Swap.com team last month and have been working out of their rad offices in SoWa (the summer home of The Haberdash). Melissa and I will be hosting twice or even three times (more like 20 times) as many events nationwide next year, and we will also be working on a way for loyal swappers a way to get their swap fix in between our events by swapping online.
Swap.com is a super hip place to swap books, CDs, DVDs, and video games online. I’m super excited to work with people with a passion for swapping and help them expand past those current categories into additional types of swapping, and to show the world that fashion and style does not mean hyper consumption. Maybe even convert a few fellow fashion addicts in to sharers versus owners.

Tumblr

As much as I love blogging, sometimes life doest allow me much time for it. In these times Tumblr has been my savor. Tumblr makes it effortless to share anything I find or create on the inter-webs. Some would say its lazy mans blogging, but its really just busy girl blogging. So if you would like to hang out with me on Tumblr, you can find my every day inspiration blog here.
