I just wanted to post some of the Vintage goodies I found at church sales last weekend. The dress form was $7 and all the other stuff was fill a box for $3.00. This was only half of it, Kate took her stuff home before I could get a photo. I also bought a wicker headboard (I will show you after I paint it a funky color) and a antique wood chair for $5 each.
Ooh, I almost forgot about the vintage aprons that we wore around all weekend pretending to be domestic. We got those for 50 cents each.

That dress form is awesome and I’m loving those aprons! Great finds!
I love your finds!First is the best. But I want to see your other buys!
P.S. I love your blog, it is very interesting!
I’m looking forward to seeing the headboard!
awww, My room is a mess. I cant post it on the inter web.
hey punky,
Newport is so much fun! Second Beach is good if you go to the right when you are pulling in the parking lot, the other end has lots of kids. Thames St. is probably where most of the shops are. There is some new eco shop in Brick Market, and Franklin St. has some new shops that I haven’t checked out yet. Broadway has a pretty good vintage shop, Vintage Revival. They’ve got an awesome pair of vintage Burberry shoe/booties in the window. Definitely go out to eat at Perro Salado, a new Mexican place on Charles St. They have the best margaritas. If you want to have a fancy dinner go to The Mooring, and Fluke has wonderful drinks. Hope you have fun! Let me know what you end up doing.
Nicole
