I <3 New England

Hello lovelies, I hope everyone had a exciting weekend. We did a bit of exploring over the last few days. We drove down to Putnam, CT to check out all the antique shops. There must have been 30 shops in this little town, But we didn’t buy anything (when your family owns a antique shop, you think everyone else is over priced). Then on Sunday Kyle and I drove out west to the Mohawk Trail. We strolled over the Bridge of Flowers, did some rock climbing at the Glacial Potholes and searched for covered bridges. The town of Shelburne Falls is so beautiful, It looks exactly like it did when my dad took me there 15 years ago. It almost made me regret buying a house in the city.

I wish I could have made it to Brimfield…But no money.. My fav antique store in Putnam is Jerimiahs… It used to kick ass when the dealer that handles way to much Haywood furniture was in there.. But he moved to California and took all of it with him… Grew up in that dirty turned yuppy town… I am having my yard sale this weekend in Putnam.. my folks location is much better than mine here in Worcester.
Also they just reopened the Putnam Flea Market that is all antiques…Funky and fun…

Reading this post was so bizarre! I’m grew up in Western Mass and spent every day last summer at the pot holes in Shelburne Falls! It is one of my favorite places in the world. I went to the high school right in Buckland (the next town over). Barely anyone I have talked to has even heard of the place! I’m so glad you enjoyed it and had a great time there. MA rocks and so does this site!
