I’m in love with Tie Dye
There is something about dying clothes that makes me feel like a five year old. I can still recall all my dads work shirts coming out of the wash bright purple after I went through my last tie dying phase. Who knew you have to bleach the washing machine after you dye things…oops.

I think today I’m going to try some scarves and maybe some tights. There are a bunch of “How To” videos on You Tube, if you would like to make a mess also.

Fun! If you find that you really get into fabric dyeing you might look into other dyes. Rit is not a geat dye. For cotton try a fabric reactive dye (procion) along with an activator (soda ash) and a lot of salt. the color results are so much better and will not fade like Rit. Prochemical and Dharma Trading are 2 good sources.
