Lights

Has anyone seen the new Old Navy commercials? They have probably been running for a while, But I turn on my tv about once a month. With exception of this weekend which I spent sick in bed. Anyway, the ON commercial came on and I noticed two things right away. The first being the model was wearing a maxi dress(really long dress), so I guess that officially a trend now. The second being they were using a song by one of my favorite artist. I immediately goggled Old Navy commercials and found out that…Old Navy claims they discovered Lights and they have a total of four commercials planned (filmed in Buenos Ares). Lights herself will be featured in one of the last two commercials. I’m now convinced that ON is secretly watching my Myspace favorites page because this is the third one of my favorite artist that they have used for a commercial.

Here are two of the four commercials:

If anyone else is a fan and you know where I could get a copy her song Casanova that she had up on Myspace about a year ago, I would be forever thankful.

as for the maxi-dress- it is certainly upon us. i tried one on at h&m this past weekend, but unfortunately it did NOT look good on me. alas, i was disappointed, but maybe there is another one out there for me…

Funny how quick trends repeat themselves, maxi dresses were hot a few years back and now here they are…I do not have the body for one solid straight peice of fabric from my shoulders to feet…
