Rehashing

So far this year I’m doing really well with my “consume less” resolution, I’ve only purchased four things that were not either vintage or handmade (2 UO tee’s, a pair of $10 boots at TJMaxx and a Kate Nash cd.)
And today while I was browsing Stumbleupon I happened to stumble upon (pun intended) a website called Rehash.
Rehash is a online community that has come up with a environmentally-conscious way to get rid of clothes you don’t wear in exchange for clothes you will wear. You can trade your clothing with others who are seeking a new wardrobe and in exchange revamp your closet. This is a super way to keep me on track with my new years resolutions.
I just joined today so I don’t have any items up yet, but check back or add me as a friend…here to see what goodies I have to swap.

Stumble gets me in trouble. Far too much with receipes and furniture I can not afford. Also fashions that will never fit me.
Sighhhhhh

yeah, I checked it out after I read this because it seemed interesting. I like the site a lot, actually. I too wish more people used it. I guess the only way to get more people is to promote it. I already got 6 of my girlfriends to do it. ^_^
